Badland Outfitters has been established since May 2005, it is a general partnership. Badland Outfitters is owned and operated by Arlin Whirlwindhorse and Jim G. Red Cloud. During the hunting seasons the outfitter service with guide hunters during the different seasons. They will also take on different types of tours in the tourist season. The guide service will be operated year round, when ever clients want to come to the reservation whether is be hunting, biking, hiking, fishing or touring what ever their experience desires we can accommodate them.
Vision and Mission Statement:
Our vision is to strengthen the economy of the reservation by bringing people to our area and help them with their adventure here. Our mission is to help the reservation economy thrive by opening peoples eyes to what we have to over here on the reservation for hunting, fishing, and tourism. To show that here in Indian country we have came a long way in being professionals at what we do.
Location: Badland Outfitters is located in Kyle, which is the heart of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Which is 80 miles south east of Rapid City South Dakota and the Black Hills, which we call Paha Sapa. We are also 40 miles south of I 90 and at the edge of the badlands and the white river which is our reservation border to the north, and the Cheyenne River to the North West. Our southern border is the Nebraska border and our eastern border is the Rosebud Reservation. |

Our Guides pictured on the left are my two main guides, they look a little young in the picture but they are now 22 years my oldest son on the left and 14 years my youngest on the right and thats me in the middle with my elk 260 inches for those of you how are wondering.
